Manufacturing Engineer-Ocala, FL

Description

You will be a Manufacturing Engineer for the Ocala Operations team, responsible for delivering high‑mix, high‑volume circuit card, wiring harness, and electro‑assembly production across multi‑shift facilities.

• Design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for circuit card and wiring harness production.
• Lead root‑cause investigations and develop corrective actions to reduce defects and rework.
• Collaborate with operations and quality teams to achieve on‑time delivery and compliance with specifications.
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades or automation enhancements where appropriate.
• Document and standardize work instructions, process parameters, and best‑practice guidelines.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• U.S. citizenship (required for special access to the facility).

• Data analytics.
• Experience with CCA manufacturing in accordance with IPC‑A‑610.
• Experience with Cable and Harness manufacturing in accordance with IPC/WHMA‑A‑620.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Excellent process development and documentation skills (MS Office).
• Experience with visual‑based work instructions (creating and providing feedback).
• Proficiency with CAD software (Creo and AutoCAD preferred).
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Work Schedule:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
