-high mix and high volume production that has a combination of automated processes as well as labor intensive manufacturing. Ocala Operations has a represented manufacturing workforce that is supported by a strong engineering and operations support team. What You Will Be Doing As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr, you will be responsible for:

• Candidate shall be able to develop and implement Manufacturing Process Plans for a variety of electronic, cables & harness and electromechanical assemblies, including material and process specifications.
• Utilize basic drafting and software programs to develop process plans, tooling, support equipment, process flows.
• Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing operators to facilitate assembly performance.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce cost and increase yields.
• Must have good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Investigate root cause of failures/defects and implement corrective action to support continuous improvement.

Desired skills:

• Green Belt or Black Belt Trained in Lean Six Sigma
• CCA and Cable and Harness manufacturing experience in accordance with specifications IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and IPC-WHMA-A-620
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Experience with Non-Recurring Engineering
• Ability to lead and train peers
• Familiarity with Windchill and MPMLink
• Detail oriented personality
• Excellent process development and documentation skills. (MS Office)
• Experienced with visual based work instructions (creating and providing feedback)
• Ability to use CAD software (Creo and AutoCAD preferred)
