2nd Shift Truss Production Sawyer

Truss Worker

Tibbetts Lumber is looking for goal-oriented individuals who are proven leaders to work as production personnel in our truss plant on 2nd shift. The Truss Worker will produce quality trusses according to production schedules, safety guidelines, and customer specifications. Applicants must be team-oriented, motivated, have excellent attendance, and like to work in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided for all required job duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for all aspects of safe, accurate, and efficient setup of roof and floor trusses.
• Arrive at work location punctually and consistently on a daily basis.
• Learn safety procedures and follow established procedures for all assignments.
• Maintain work stations including inventory and work areas according to Company standards and housekeeping guidelines.
• Handle lumber and perform miscellaneous yard work as assigned.
• Comply with all Company requirements for conduct and work behavior.
• Attend and participate in all Company sponsored training programs as required.
• Perform any other duties responsibilities or tasks as assigned.
• Be able to read a tape measure and use a hammer.
• Be able to operate equipment such as routers, saws, presses and staple guns
• Other duties may be assigned.
