Manufacturing Planner Sr

Description:

You will be the Manufacturing Planner Sr. for the Ocala Operations team. The team coordinates with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide shop‑floor control on make parts, analyzes and controls production schedule and capacity requirements, executes the plan, provides timely status, and expedites or works around plans to preserve schedule. The team also coordinates with Supply Chain stakeholders to determine appropriate phased plans for procured parts and ensures deliverables meet production schedule requirements.

As the Manufacturing Planner Sr., you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of manufacturing operations, working closely with cross‑functional teams to meet program goals and deliver high‑quality products.

• Become proficient in SAP and Apriso to support production planning
• Collaborate with internal customers to provide status updates and program health information
• Monitor material releases and production metrics to ensure timely deliveries
• Work with the team to maintain and improve production planning and control (PP&C) metrics
• Interface with customers to provide program updates and insights

• Completed bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to facility requirements
• Previous experience in production planning
• Experience communicating with peers, leadership, and internal customers on multiple platforms
• Experience with ERP/MRP (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

• Experience controlling and handling inventory
• Ability to manage various tasks under time‑sensitive constraints
• Demonstrated ability to work well in both a team environment and alone
• Demonstrated analytical, problem‑solving, and multi‑tasking skills
• Demonstrated ability to ensure data integrity and consistency
• Ability to understand and use Material Resource Planning, Warehouse Management and Manufacturing Execution Systems
• Working knowledge of SAP and Apriso WM
• Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control manufacturing operations experience
• Experience working in a union contract environment
• Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
• Understanding of MRP and supply‑and‑demand management

Location:

Ocala, Florida. The position is onsite full‑time and requires the work to be performed at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work schedule:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
