Hourly (Non‑Exempt). Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 1:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.).

• Communicate verbally with other employees on the assembly line to coordinate tasks.
• Serve as the supporting person for the Supervisor.
• Know all the processes and procedures in the department.
• Assist with filling in on the lines when needed for lunch rotation and restroom breaks.
• Responsible for the orderly flow of the line.
• Adjust the equipment to increase productivity and quality.
• Use Excel to update schedules and keep the other members of the Leadership informed.
• Must be able to use tugs and pallet jack to set up schedules and move racks.
• Ensure workers perform job assignments correctly and safely.
• Monitor glass yields, adjust schedules to improve yields, with respect to shipping deadlines.
• Monitor the status of schedules and back orders.
• Monitor equipment for issues and notify the Supervisor.
• Requires working side‑by‑side with co‑workers performing production work and in a leadership capacity.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required skills and abilities:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must not have any active Written Warnings or higher-level corrective actions (applicable to current team members).
• Excellent work performance.
• Must read and comprehend shop floor monitor.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Must have a team mindset.
• Must understand the importance of goal setting and achieving set goals.
• Must have a positive attitude that aligns with Cardinal LG’s leadership philosophy of cultivating a positive work environment.
• Must possess a sense of urgency in completing work on time.
• Must behave ethically and treat team members with respect.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and team lift 100 pounds per Cardinal standards.
• Knowledge of specs for customers.

Previous work experience and knowledge preferred; however, on-the-job training will be provided.
