Position Overview

Coil Loader and Floop Operator – 2nd Shift (Mon–Fri, 3:30 pm – 12:00 am). Salary: $22.00 per hour + $1.00 shift differential. The role is based at the Ocala, FL plant and may require overtime, flexibility with early reporting, late finishing, and weekend work.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assemble and fabricate metal parts by operating mechanical equipment.
  • Operate a machine‑operated welder to create continuity between new and work‑in‑process production.
  • Assemble parts into sub‑units or complete units.
  • Use a forklift or overhead crane to restock metal coils.
  • Monitor machine performance to ensure continuity in the manufacturing process.
  • Perform low‑level maintenance to maintain machine capability.
  • Take measurements of material to ensure it meets specification.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and aptitude for operating machinery.
  • Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time‑management skills.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Hi‑Lo certification preferred; training and certification will be provided.
  • Approximately one year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Must clear a drug screen and background check.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
Physical Demands/Work Environment

The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Typical tasks include bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, and lifting or carrying materials up to 50 lb. Hearing and/or eye protection must be worn as required.
