Supervisor Production

E-ONE manufactures custom and commercial fire trucks including pumpers and tankers, aerial ladders and platforms, rescues of all sizes, quick attack units, industrial trucks, and ARFF (aircraft rescue firefighting vehicles). The Production Supervisor is primarily responsible for overseeing and leading a team of direct labor associates in the manufacture and assembly of products, components and parts for custom fire and rescue vehicles. The supervisor must meet production schedules, cost targets and quality standards and lead the team in safety, quality, efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Daily assignments of hourly production personnel to meet schedule commitments.
• Agency of quality, regulatory and ISO requirements and take corrective action as needed.
• Review work for technical accuracy against shop orders, engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance and lead improvement activities.
• Maintain accurate attendance records.
• Enforce company policies, recognize performance and administer disciplinary actions.
• Provide technical expertise for problem resolution and liaison with Materials, Engineering, Sales Administration and Product Management.
• Assist in staffing decisions and area budgeting.
• Train and develop departmental personnel and maintain the qualification matrix.
• Lead continuous improvement activities including Lean, 5S, Kaizen and value‑stream mapping.

• Follow E-ONE General Health & Safety Rules and keep a safe working environment.
• Deliver defect‑free work and implement quality control and corrective actions.
• Maintain flexibility to work in other areas and overtime when required.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and submit Minor Kaizen improvements.
• Collaborate with teammates and maintain a positive working attitude.
• Apply Lean principles and support certification programs.
• Engage in career development and attend trainings and task force groups.
• Provide leadership and innovative strategy to grow market share and profitability.

• High School Diploma (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of work‑related experience, 2 years supervisory or leadership.
• Practical experience in electrical, mechanical, welding, metal fabrication.
• Experience in vehicle production or custom manufacturing.
• In‑depth knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in Lean principles and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication, team‑building and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Computer skills and ability to learn company systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA, FAA, OSHA, RCRA and DOT requirements.

• Lift up to 40 lb occasionally and 20 lb frequently.
• Climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps.
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing and walking.
• Require adequate visual acuity for machine operation and vehicle driving.
• Exposure to mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, heat and chemicals.
