MIG​/Stick Welder

We are looking for a talented Welder/Fabricator to become a key member of our production staff. In this active role, you will be responsible for assembling steel parts through welding, as well as cutting and processing materials using various hand tools and shop machinery. You will be expected to work both within our dedicated fabrication facility and across different areas of the plant site.

Success in this role requires a solid grasp of fabrication tools, welding methods, and essential safety standards.

• Execute MIG and stick welding tasks, which includes properly configuring welding equipment.
• Utilize standard shop tools and manual implements to finalize fabrication projects.
• Employ plasma cutters and oxy/acetylene torches to accurately cut materials.
• Ensure that your workspace, including all machinery and tools, remains tidy and well-maintained.
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly adhering to all safety procedures.

• At least 2 years of professional experience in welding and fabrication.
• Demonstrated proficiency in setting up and performing both MIG and stick welding.
• Adept at handling various hand tools and common fabrication shop equipment.
• Competent in the operation of plasma cutting tools and oxy/acetylene torches.
• Possess a high level of precision and the ability to contribute effectively whether working alone or with colleagues.

• Experience utilizing bridge cranes and overhead hoists.
• Ability to perform tasks while operating aerial man lifts or scissor lifts.
• Experience with the operation of a press brake and plate shear.
• Experience in welding aluminum via a spool gun.
• Capable of loading and managing a CNC Plasma cutting table.
• Ability to execute basic functions on a metal lathe.
• Ability to operate milling or drilling machinery.
