The 911 Cell Phone Bank is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to securely recycling electronic devices while supporting vulnerable individuals, and victims of domestic violence and human trafficking. Using third-party verification software, the organization adheres to DOD NIST 800-88 Rev. 1 guidelines to ensure secure data erasure. Donated devices are repurposed to provide free emergency phones for victims of abuse, and other individuals in need.
Since 2004, the program has distributed over 150,000 emergency phones nationwide. Generated funds support family justice centers, domestic violence.
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Ocala, FL, for a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will oversee development department staff to establish and maintain donor relationships, identify and secure new donor sources, and expand partnerships aligned with the organization's mission. Daily tasks will include attending meetings with stakeholders, and analyzing program performance of staff to improve device donations.
Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with team members to identify strategic growth opportunities to further the program's mission.
- Experience with partnership development, donor relationship management, and securing donation sources
- Strong skills in business communication, writing, and presentation development
- Proficiency in data analysis for evaluating and optimizing donation outcomes
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with organizational goals
- Leadership skills, experience in team collaboration, and stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency with CRM software is a plus
- Prior experience in non-profit development and B2B experience roles is highly desirable
