Meadowbrook Church has an immediate opening for a full-time (40 hours per week, Sunday - Thursday), Next Steps Coordinator. Applicants should be an active and dedicated Christian who is a member of Meadowbrook Church, possess excellent administrative skills, as well as experience in computer operations and database management. The ability to understand the importance of confidentiality is key and of the utmost importance, especially when it comes to sensitive information that may be related to the well‑being of others.
Commitment to delivering excellent results in all areas of responsibilities is required.
- Staff members are expected to: demonstrate a heart for Meadowbrook Church by putting God first through tithes and offerings, staying current with the weekly message through services, archives, and podcasts, and maintaining their spiritual progress through a personal relationship with God and demonstrating a passionate heart for worship.
- Love Jesus and passionate about pointing people to their next steps.
- Team-focused, high‑momentum, high‑capacity, and a self‑starter.
- Passionate about learning new skills and consistently adding new tools to their toolkit.
- Attention to detail and able to follow processes.
- Meadowbrook Church values are demonstrated in every area of ministry work and personal life.
- Thorough understanding and adherence to all church and staff policies.
- Ongoing personal, professional, and spiritual development.
- Coordinated with the Next Steps Pastor.
- Sunday 7:00 am – 2:00 pm.
- Monday – Thursday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
- Must be willing to adapt the schedule to work some nights, longer days during busy seasons, and all‑staff events, including Heart of a Woman, Men’s Night, etc.
- As a member of the Meadowbrook Church Next Steps team, you play a vital role in supporting Decisions, Baptisms, Growth Track, and New Life. You will work with others who are committed to fostering life change and guiding individuals in their spiritual growth, helping people move from where they are to where God wants them to be.
- Excellent phone and communication abilities for conducting follow‑up calls.
- High level of proficiency in all elements of Microsoft Office 365, Church Community Builders, and any other software used in support of staff operations.
- Communicating and leading volunteer teams.
- Develop a collaborative relationship with team directors.
- Confer with other staff members where common knowledge and input are beneficial for harmonious relationships and work efficiency.
- Work completed on time with little or no supervision.
- Continuously assess and explore improvements within Next Steps Team.
- Have a heart to serve both the team and the congregation.
