Cath Lab RN – Days (Pre/Post Recovery) – 13 Weeks

Start Date: ASAP
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Schedule: 4×10s + rotating call
Location: Ocala, FL

Seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a pre‑ and post‑procedure recovery role. This position supports a busy cardiac procedural department with three labs and requires strong hemodynamic assessment skills, recovery experience, and comfort with high‑acuity cardiac patients. Travelers may occasionally cover STEMI call at a nearby sister facility.

• Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience
• RCIS certification required
• AHA BLS & ACLS required
• Strong pre‑/post‑procedure recovery experience
• Ability to work rotating call
• Must be comfortable in a fast‑paced cardiac procedural environment

• EP experience
• Experience with advanced cardiac support devices

• Labs: 3
• Ratios: 3:1
• Equipment: GE lab systems, Impella, balloon pump, Penumbra, IVUS
• Documentation: Merge Hemo
• Float Expectation: May cover STEMI call at nearby sister hospital

• Right & left heart catheterizations (diagnostic & interventional)
• Peripheral vascular procedures (diagnostic & interventional)
• Pre‑ and post‑procedure patient recovery

• 4×10‑hour shifts
• Rotating call required
• Must be flexible with scheduling needs

• Provided OR scrubs

• Calm, confident, and adaptable
• Strong communicator
• Comfortable with high‑acuity cardiac patients
• Works well in a collaborative procedural environment
