We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse (RN) to join our team in providing exceptional mental health care at Universal Health Services, Inc. located in the United States. The RN participates in treatment planning as a member of an interdisciplinary team; provides assessment of patients’ psychiatric and medical status; administers medication and medical treatment as prescribed by physician; assesses, directs and intervenes in crisis situations;

provides and directs milieu management, and additional tasks as needed. NEW GRADS ARE WELCOME!

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to patients.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Participate in crisis intervention as needed.

Requirements:

Education: Associate degree in Nursing required. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years experience in the mental health field preferred.

License: Licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse required.

Skills: Excellent communication skills. Ability to relate to those emotionally disturbed and in crisis.
