Schedule: Full-Time | Days or Nights | Rotating Weekends

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse - ICU (Med-Surg Background) role is designed for experienced Med-Surg nurses transitioning into the Intensive Care Unit. This position provides structured ICU orientation, clinical mentorship, and progressive patient assignments to support the development of critical care competencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill ICU patients under guidance
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuous monitoring
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and titratable drips per protocol
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Respond to changes in patient condition and emergencies
• Participate in ICU training, education, and competency validation

Qualifications:

• Active Florida or compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year Med-Surg or acute care experience
• BLS required; ACLS within required timeframe
