Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Neonatal Physician Assistant

Advent Health Medical Group is seeking a dynamic and energetic provider to work in our Level II NICU in Ocala, Florida.

• Provide care for NICU and newborn patients within the scope of licensure and under the supervision of the neonatologist.
• Evaluate patients, perform procedures, develop treatment plans, order and interpret labs, x‑rays, and other diagnostic studies.
• Communicate with parents, other specialists, and members of the NICU team.
• Monitor specialized equipment, including incubators and ventilators.
• Provide education and support to patients' families regarding neonatal, intensive, and postpartum care.
• Dispense medications under a collaborative agreement with a physician.
• Perform diagnostic tests and procedures such as intubation and blood draws.
• Ensure proper feeding and basic care.

• 24‑hour shifts (8 am–8 am).

• Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies with neonatal certification (required).
• 1–2 years of experience in the NICU as an RN (highly preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in the NICU as an Neonatal APRN or Neonatal PA‑C (preferred but not required).

• Valid Florida APRN or PA license with neonatal certification.
• Certification through ANCC or other nationally recognized certifying body.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
