Job Description

$10,000 Sign on Bonus available for eligible candidates. Relocation incentive from $5,000 available for eligible candidates. Eligible clinicians can earn salary increases of up to 20% through the Clinical Ladder Program.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to infection control policies and safety protocols.
• Respond promptly to life‑threatening situations using established protocols and critical care skills.

• Skills required to work in critical care area.
• Excellent organization and interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills – must navigate Microsoft Windows programs.
• Effective communication in English, both verbal and written.
• Problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
• Organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Mental and emotional stability, courteous and calm approach to all contacts.
• Mature judgment and ability to handle confidential information.
• Personal qualities such as kindness, compassion, integrity, respect, discretion.

• High level of abstract reasoning to assess patient and revise plan of care.
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.

• Accurate documentation within EMR.
• Proficiency in clinical skills, multi‑tasking, bedside manner.
• Knowledgeable in assigned areas of patient care including health promotion and maintenance.
• EKG knowledge based on patient population.
• Previous experience with Cerner EMR (preferred).
• Previous EKG Interpretation Class (preferred).
• EPIC (preferred).

• Associate’s of Nursing (required).
• Bachelor’s of Nursing (preferred).

• 1+ year of experience as an ER RN in the last 12 months (required).

• Registered Nurse (RN) (required).
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS (required).

Physical requirements for this position are available at

$31.53 – $52.24 per hour.
