REGISTERED NURSE SPECIALIST -
Your specific responsibilities include providing professional nursing services on the Mobile Health Unit, counseling and educating clients on sexually transmitted infections (STI), including human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), and risk reduction, and performing various nursing and operational duties.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include strong communication skills, fluency in spoken and written English, ability to teach others, knowledge of adult learning methods, ability to administer vaccines across all age groups, and ability to handle difficult STI/sexual health issues/situations in a sensitive, professional and non-judgmental manner.
Qualifications include a valid Florida Driver's license, one year nursing experience in clinical public health, and a valid Florida registered nursing license.
