• Job Description: Openings on Medical ICU, Cardiovascular PCU and Medical PCU
• Unit ratios: MICU 2:1 (or 1:1 for high acuity), MPCU 4:1, CVPCU 3:1
• Compensation: $10,000 Sign-on Bonus available for eligible candidates;
  Relocation incentive from $5,000 available for eligible candidates
• Growth: Eligible clinicians can earn salary increases up to 20% through the Clinical Ladder Program based on experience, development, and advancement criteria

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments and medical diagnoses
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses, adjusting care plans to achieve optimal outcomes
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Document patient care activities in the EMR accurately and timely
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality care
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established protocols and critical care skills

• Critical care skills as defined by the unit (required)
• Excellent organization and interpersonal communication skills (required)
• Basic computer skills – Microsoft Windows-based programs (required)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing (required)

• EKG knowledge (required, varies by patient population)
• Previous experience with Cerner EMR (preferred)
• Previous EKG interpretation class (preferred)
• EPIC (preferred)

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Required)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Preferred)

• 1+ year of RN experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months (Required)
