Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

A leading anesthesia practice is seeking Board Certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join a large, established anesthesia care team serving two major hospitals in Ocala, Florida
.

Anesthesia Practice

Join a large Anesthesia Care Team consisting of approximately:

  • 20 Anesthesiologists

  • 32 Advanced Practice Providers

  • Coverage across two hospital campuses totaling approximately 585 beds

  • Approximately 12,000 cases annually across both facilities

  • Approximately 700 cardiac cases annually

The primary hospital is a Level I Trauma Center and the region's only Comprehensive Stroke Center
, providing CRNAs exposure to a clinically diverse and high-acuity environment.

The practice is also a clinical training site for Barry University and USF SRNA rotations
, creating opportunities for CRNAs interested in teaching and mentoring future anesthesia professionals.

Diverse Case Mix

CRNAs have the opportunity to work across a broad range of surgical specialties, including:

Flexible Self-Scheduling

CRNAs participate in self-scheduling through QGenda
, with scheduling flexibility not based solely on seniority.

Available shifts include:

  • 8-hour shifts

  • 10-hour shifts

  • 12-hour shifts

  • 16-hour OR shifts

  • Select 24-hour trauma shifts

Full-time providers are salaried and generally scheduled for 80 hours biweekly

Hours worked beyond 80 hours during the biweekly period are compensated at time-and-a-half

No Traditional Call

There is no traditional overnight call requirement

Scheduling requirements generally include:

  • Approximately 1 weekend shift per month

  • Approximately 4–5 evening shifts (3 PM–11 PM) per year

  • No call after 11 PM

Compensation

Compensation is structured based on experience and applicable clinical/facility assignments.

Base Salary
  • 1–2 years: approximately $220,000

  • 3–4 years: approximately $225,000

  • 11+ years: approximately $240,000

Compensation may incorporate facility modifiers associated with assignments such as cardiac, trauma, and designated site coverage
