Nocturnist Advanced Practice Clinician in Ocala, FL

Team Health has an exciting opportunity for a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our hospital medicine team at West Marion Community Hospital in Ocala, Florida! This position focuses on admissions, cross-coverage, and managing acute issues for hospitalized patients. The clinician hired for this role will work a dedicated night shift schedule from 6pm to 6am within a 7-on/7-off block rotation.

Opportunity Overview

• 7-on/7-off block schedule;
  Monday through Sunday rotation
• Full-time nights;12-hour shifts (6pm to 6am)

Typical nocturnist NP/PA responsibilities include...

• Admissions: average of 8 to 9 per night between both sites
• Cross-coverage between two facilities: HCA Ocala and West Marion (onsite at WM)
• Coordination of care with nursing and ancillary services
• Documentation and handoff to daytime clinicians
