Registered Nurse – Endoscopy​/GI

Endoscopy/GI Nursing Opportunity

Provide specialized endoscopy and gastrointestinal nursing care to patients in a fast-paced clinical setting. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective procedures and optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pre-procedural assessments and prepare patients for endoscopic procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort levels throughout procedures.
• Assist physicians during endoscopy and GI interventions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Document procedural details and patient responses accurately in medical records.
• Educate patients on post-procedure care and answer their questions effectively.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and functioning.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant endoscopy or GI nursing experience.
• Strong knowledge of endoscopy procedures, safety standards, and sterilization techniques.
• Excellent patient communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
