Our members love shopping for fresh food at Sam’s Club because of our hard‑working, happy‑to‑help fresh food associates. As a freezer, cooler, and deli stocker, you will keep shelves stocked, maintain the sanitary conditions of our freezers and coolers, and, when working in the deli department, provide front‑line customer service with a smile to enhance the member experience.

Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to management.

Support the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the freezer/cooler/deli area by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, receiving and stocking merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, completing required audits and paperwork, and securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise.

Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting the company’s products and services.

Follow company policies and procedures related to the freezer/cooler area, including complying with food handling policies, operating, repairing, and sanitizing equipment, following cold‑chain procedures, cleaning the freezer/cooler/deli area, monitoring fans, drains, and doors, and reporting issues to management.
