Hallmark Field Merchandiser; part-time Ocala, FL

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally, you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.

• Your starting hourly pay rate will be $15.00–$17.00 depending on your skills and experience.
• Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.

• This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Average weekly hours are between 9–11 hours.
• Availability the week before and after major holidays—including weekends—is required.
• Support is required for season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

• Day‑to‑day engagement
  :
  Use a mobile device provided by Hallmark to restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Maintain professional and courteous interactions with store employees, management, and customers.
• Holiday support
  :
  During peak seasons (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas), additional days and extended hours may be required, sometimes on the holidays themselves and/or on weekends.
• Department resets
  :
  Participate in installations and related tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Advance notice of approximately two weeks is typically provided; assignments may include evenings or weekends.
• Team collaboration
  :
  As part of Hallmark’s field organization, support other team members in their territories when needed.

This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will spend time on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may be required to climb stairs and step ladders.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Capable of repeatedly lifting up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency with a digital handheld device to open and read documents.
• Reliable Wi‑Fi and internet access.
• Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
