Overview
This position is responsible for the promotion, sales, and rental of new and used air compressor products and accessories. The sales territory shall cover an agreed upon area between the A/C Sales Business Manager and Sales Representative.
Responsibilities- Promote, sell, and rent air compressor products and accessories (new and used).
- Maintain and grow parts and service business in coordination with the Air Compressor Service Supervisor in the assigned territory.
- Make regular sales, rental and service calls to existing customers, including but not limited to engineers, mechanical contractors, general contractors, utilities, manufacturing plants, and other compressor users.
- Perform regular cold calls on potential customers to expand the existing customer base.
- Maintain a 30-day schedule to maximize time and territory management.
- Input all active rental, sale, and parts/service quotes into the CRM for tracking and move them through won, lost, or dead designations.
- Represent Ring Power and promote various divisions and products; forward leads to the appropriate contact person. Sell the house.
- Maintain a competitive assessment of all competitors in the territory, including strengths and weaknesses.

EducationAnd Experience
- Education:
Associate Degree or certification equivalent in a related field. - Experience:
3-4 years.
Able to comprehend written material and communicate effectively orally and in writing with employees and customers.
Not Required But Highly Desired Criteria- Outside rental or sales experience.
- Knowledge of the air compressor industry.
- Familiar with Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Mechanical aptitude; good interpersonal and communication skills.
Job requirements frequently change, requiring retraining one or more times per year.
