Position SummaryThe Loan Officer is a full‑time outside sales position responsible for seeking and developing new business sources, meeting with prospective customers, brokers, home‑builder consultants, and other referral sources to collect and analyze customer financial information, advise on loan products, and help select the appropriate loan program within Lennar Mortgage roadmap.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Company’s growth through outside sales and lead generation.
- Travel to communities, realtors’ offices, and other locations at least weekly to solicit new business and leads from home builders.
- Conduct "First Time Homebuyer Seminars" in communities on a regular basis to generate leads and build relationships with New Home Consultants and prospective/current customers.
- Participate in builder and realtor functions, status meetings, phase releases, phone banks, and special events to maintain relationships and provide customer service.
- Meet with prospective/current customers, explain the Company’s offerings, obtain loan applications and required documents, and attend closings.
- Review leads daily and contact prospective customers by telephone and email to arrange in‑person or virtual meetings.
- Originate and prepare new loans following the "Loan Officer" agreement and ensure all loans meet guidelines of the Products and Policies manual.
- Advise customers on mortgage products based on their individual needs.
- Lock loans in accordance with the Secondary Marketing Pricing and Rate Lock Policies at least fifteen days prior to closing.
- Provide assistance to New Home Consultants on pre‑qualifications to develop a pipeline for outside sales and provide loan status updates as needed.
- Meet or exceed closed‑loan capture rates and other sales goals set by the Division Manager.
- Maintain reports and notes within the origination computer system about prospects, customers, loan status, and underwriting details.
- Four‑year college degree (preferred).
- Bilingual – Spanish.
- At least three years of loan originating experience.
- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
- NMLS license.
Physical Requirements

Physical requirements include regular in‑person attendance at company communities and sites, ability to work more than eight hours per day in confined quarters, operation of a motor vehicle, reading plans, climbing stairs and ladders, moving equipment up to 50 lbs, and occasional use of construction equipment.
