This is a base + commission position.

As an Account Manager, you’ll own and grow a portfolio of commercial and industrial accounts by building strong relationships and delivering value‑driven solutions.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Prospect, develop, and win new commercial and industrial customers within your assigned territory
  • Manage and retain existing accounts
    , ensuring long‑term customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding natural gas and energy‑related services
  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Manager, inside sales, operations, and marketing teams to align on sales strategies
  • Identify customer needs and recommend customized energy solutions
  • Build credibility as an industry expert by staying current on energy markets, products, competitors, and trends
  • Attend trade shows, conventions, and customer events to expand your network and pipeline
  • Communicate proactively with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a motivated sales professional who is comfortable working independently in the field and thrives on relationship‑based selling.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3–4 years of sales experience
    , preferably in outside or B2B sales
  • Valid Florida driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close new business
  • Highly organized with strong time‑management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to commercial or industrial customers
  • Knowledge of energy, utilities, or related services
