Bilingual Loan Officer

The Loan Officer is a full‑time outside sales role responsible for generating new business, meeting with prospective customers, and originating loans in accordance with Lennar Mortgage’s product roadmap.

• Support the Company’s growth through outside sales activities and lead generation
• Travel to various communities, realtors’ offices, and other appropriate locations on a regular basis (at least weekly) to solicit new business and/or leads from home builders
• Conduct “First Time Homebuyer Seminars” in communities on a regular basis to develop leads and build relationships with New Home Consultants and prospective/current buyers
• Participate in builder and realtor functions, status meetings, phase releases, phone banks, and special events to develop and maintain relationships and customer service
• Meet with prospective/current customers, explain the Company’s offerings, obtain loan applications and other required documents, and attend closings
• Review leads daily and contact prospective customers via telephone and email to schedule in‑person or virtual meetings
• Originate and prepare new loans in accordance with the “Loan Officer” agreement to ensure all loans meet the guidelines of the Products and Policies manual
• Advise and recommend mortgage loan products based on the customer’s individual needs
• Review interest rates as needed and lock all loans with the borrowers in accordance with the Secondary Marketing Pricing and Rate Lock Policies and Procedures manual at least fifteen days prior to closing
• Assist New Home Consultants with pre‑qualifications of customers to develop a pipeline for outside sales; provide loan status as needed
• Meet or exceed closed loan capture rate, spot loan objectives for the division, and other established sales goals as determined by the Division Manager and based on annual business

• Four‑year college degree (preferred)
• Bilingual‑Spanish
• At least three years of Loan Originating experience
• Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including evening and weekend work
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• NMLS License

Regular in‑person attendance at Company communities, job sites, and offices during regular work hours is essential. The position requires working more than eight hours per day in confined spaces, operating a motor vehicle, reading plans, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, moving, and/or carrying equipment that may exceed 50 pounds. Occasional construction equipment operation and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and calculator may also be required.
