Job Title

AFC Field Sales & Service Representative

Treasure Coast – Melbourne, Fort Pierce, Palm Bay, Merritt Island, Titusville, Port Saint Lucie, Vero Beach, Stuart. Field-based role; travel to client sites; occasional office attendance.

Responsible for meeting monthly sales goals for assigned territory via strategic sales plan. Conducts formal sales presentations to consumer groups; arranges private appointments at customers’ homes; makes outbound phone calls to prospects; manages temporary support staff; maintains customer records in an automated lead tracking system. Generates leads within territory by building relationships with contracted medical providers, senior organizations, community leaders; educates groups about Senior Services products.

Cross-sells specified products from other departments; provides member retention services to existing customers. May require extensive overnight travel and evening/weekend hours.

• Sell and promote Senior Services products through formal sales presentations.
• Arrange private appointments in customers’ homes and make outbound calls to prospects.
• Manage temporary support staff and maintain customer records in the lead tracking system.
• Identify opportunities to generate leads and build relationships within the community.
• Cross-sell products from other departments.
• Provide member retention services to existing customers.

• High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of direct sales or marketing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Life & Health licensure if required by state law.

• BA/BS degree preferred.
• Experience selling Medicare.
• Experience building relationships within the community.

Job Level: Non-Management Exempt.
