Security Officer Entry Monitor – Ocala, FL

In this role you will help manage access control, monitor site activity, and support a professional, welcoming environment at a fast‑paced logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to deter security‑related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Monday – Sunday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, process visitors and contractors, and help deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving, documenting security‑related events and communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, gate areas, yard, trailer parking, and perimeter, noting unusual activity, access issues, and security‑related concerns.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
