Section 3 Business and Employment Notice - Lift Stations RehabilitationThe City of Callaway is preparing to carry out a Lift Station Rehabilitation Project CDBG-DR No: M0013 construction project through the use of Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds. In the implementation of this project the following job types may be available:
Power Equipment Operator (Cranes, Tower Cranes, Oiler), Ironworker (Structural), Painter, Carpenter, Cement/ Mason/Concrete Finisher, Electrician, Laborer (Common or General), Laborer (Landscape), Laborer (Pipelayer), Laborer (Power Tool Operator), Operator (Paver, Backhoe Loader combo, Backhoe/Excavator, Bulldozer, Grader/Blade, Mechanic, Loader, Trackhoe, Roller, Scraper, Tractor), Truck Driver (Dump Truck, Lowboy Truck, Off the Road Truck).
All job openings will be posted under “Callaway Jobs Announcement” at the Callaway City Hall, 6601 East Hwy 22 Callaway, Fl 32404 and at the primary construction site. To the greatest extent feasible, employment and training positions will be made available to qualified persons who permanently reside in City of Callaway. Additionally, to the greatest extent feasible, construction contracts and sub-contracts may be awarded to businesses located in and owned by persons residing in Bay County. All procurements will be made on a competitive basis. The names of businesses and job seekers who respond to this notice will be given to the prime contractor for utilization in subcontractor solicitation and job offerings.
