Road Mechanic

Are you seeking an entrepreneurial, empowering workplace that allows you to:

• Work on a variety of makes, models & equipment in challenging remote locations

• Perform preventive maintenance on Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and other equipment
• Conduct diagnostics and make repairs in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime
• Assist in developing service or operation management career tracks

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty line equipment (e.g., large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (age 21 and CDL may be required in some locations)

• Proficiency with mechanic’s tools of trade
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
• Flexibility with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Spanish or another language may be required based on location needs

Eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Sunbelt offers paid time off: 12–25 vacation days depending on years of service, 5 sick days, 6 holidays, 2 half‑day holidays, 2 floating holidays, 1 inclusion day, and 1 volunteer day.
