As a Residential Electrician - New Construction, you'll be responsible for installing electrical systems in new residential developments according to NEC and local codes. Your duties will include:
- Installing and repairing wiring, electrical systems, and fixtures
- Connecting systems to power lines
- Installing conduits, circuit breakers, and other components
- Reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Inspecting and testing systems for safety and accuracy
- Replacing wiring, conduit, or breakers as needed
- Performing other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of residential new construction experience
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
- Ability to read blueprints and use diagnostic tools
- Proficient with hand tools and power tools
- Must have own tools and a valid driver's license with a clean MVR
- Preferred:
Electrician's license and completion of a formal apprenticeship
- Must be able to see color-coded wiring
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders, scaffolding, and in tight spaces
- Frequent standing, kneeling, bending, and pulling cables through conduits
