Responsibilities
* Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures
* Ensure company equipment and materials are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner
* Keep work area and equipment clean by collecting and disposing of trash and excess materials daily
* Proactively communicate with foreman, superintendent, and coworkers
* Properly follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and the environment
* Operate GPS-enabled dozers for digging, grading, trenching, and earthmoving tasks with precision
* Utilize GPS technology to achieve accurate positioning and excavation control
* Conduct routine maintenance checks and report equipment malfunctions
* Collaborate with team members, including surveyors and supervisors, to ensure project efficiency
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and adhere to safety protocols at all times
