The Service Technician is a full-time hybrid role based in the Greater St. Louis area, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing maintenance and repair on Spider Lifts, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and completing service reports and documentation. The role involves field service visits to customer locations, conducting inspections, and ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
The Service Technician will also provide customer support, explain repair findings and recommendations, and collaborate with internal teams to coordinate parts, scheduling, and technical support. This position may require occasional travel within North America to support customers and training initiatives.
- Strong maintenance and repair skills, including experience with Maintenance & Repair and general Maintenance of mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
- Proficient Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose complex equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
- Background in Field Service work, including on-site equipment inspections, adjustments, and repairs.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build long‑term relationships.
- Experience with aerial lifts, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and safety regulations.
- Comfort working at heights and adherence to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally as needed.
- Technical diploma, trade school certificate, or equivalent experience in mechanics, electronics, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to a hybrid work environment.
