Electrician

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Electrician in Ocala, FL. The Electrician is responsible for performing electrical service, maintenance, and installation tasks within commercial or industrial environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in electrical systems, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively on a contract basis in the Ocala area.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20 to $35 Per Hour BOE

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including conduit, lighting fixtures, electrical panels, and transformers.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions to minimize system downtime.
• Install, bend, and remove conduit to accommodate wiring needs for diverse projects.
• Pull electrical wiring through conduit and connect it to circuit breakers, transformers, and outlets.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installations.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using various testing devices to ensure safety and functionality.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.

• Proven experience in electrical installations and service within a commercial or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety protocols.
• Possession of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and standard electrical hand tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Ocala, FL region.
• Dependable and punctual with a professional approach to service work.

• Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles safely.
• Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
• Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions, including extreme heat.
• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
• Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and crouch for long periods of time.
• Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.
• Must be aware of OSHA safety standards and able to work at heights or in loud environments.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $20 to $35 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
