Concrete Finisher

Job Description

The Concrete Finisher plays a crucial role in the successful completion of commercial construction and infrastructure projects. Working within a medium-sized team, this role focuses on preparing surfaces, pouring concrete, and applying finishing techniques to ensure durable and aesthetically pleasing results. The position occasionally requires travel between job sites and involves operating a variety of hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and concrete-specific equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare concrete surfaces to ensure proper finishing
• Pour and spread concrete evenly using specified techniques
• Apply finishing techniques to achieve smooth, level, and durable surfaces
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment including concrete pumps and mixers
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the job site through thorough cleanup
• Collaborate effectively within a team of 6 to 15 members
• Adapt to occasional travel requirements between job sites

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in concrete finishing
• Skilled in formwork installation and concrete mixing
• Proficient in various concrete pouring and finishing techniques
• Strong physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks
