Position Summary

The primary function of a delivery driver is to safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies, Federal and State regulations. The driver will deliver freight undamaged, load/unload materials, and provide world‑class customer service.

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects to ensure safe operation.
• Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites.
• Deliver materials to assigned areas as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety.
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Report all accidents involving the driver or company equipment.
• Lift heavy building materials (up to 100+ lbs) for load/unload.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and professional attitude.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). Minimum Class B;
  Class A strongly preferred.
• Clear three‑year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

• Remain in a stationary position while driving a commercial vehicle 40% of the time.
• Lifting up to 80 lbs for loading/unloading.
• Frequently move materials weighing up to 80 lbs while unloading flatbed.
• Operate a commercial or boom vehicle and position oneself to unload materials.
• Judge distance while delivering materials and/or operating boom.
• Communicate accurately with management and coworkers.
• Work constantly in an outside environment while making deliveries.

• Prioritise job sites and deadlines.
• Manage stress according to customer deadlines.
• Multitask and receive information and directions.
• Communicate solutions quickly if problems occur.
• Demonstrate sound judgement.
