Job Description & How to Apply Below
Breaking into trucking without experience can be tough-but we make it possible. If you've recently earned your Class A CDL, this is your chance to get on the road and start building a solid, long-term career.
Where We're Hiring
We are currently accepting applicants who live north of the Tampa-Melbourne line. Candidates must reside within this hiring area to be considered.
Getting Started
New drivers will begin with 4 weeks of paid over-the-road (OTR) training, earning $650 per week while gaining real, hands-on experience across the country. During this time, for your first 30 days you'll stay out on the road with a trainer to develop your skills.
After Training
Once training is complete, you'll sit down with a terminal manager to choose from available openings. Most positions are OTR with home time every 10-14 days, though regional routes with more frequent home time are often available. Some local roles exist, but are typically not offered right after training.
Driver Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Hold a valid Class A CDL and current DOT physical
- Have completed a minimum 120-hour program at an accredited CDL school within the past 2 years
- Pass all required DOT screenings (urine or hair test), background check, and employment verification
- Provide accident records (past 5 years) and traffic violations (past 3 years)
We currently have 23 openings for entry-level drivers. Opportunities are available in dry van, reefer, and flatbed divisions. We also offer free 5-day flatbed training for those interested in expanding their skills. No contracts are required, and drivers can transfer divisions as openings become available.
You'll be driving newer Freightliner trucks, most equipped with automatic transmissions.
Pay & Benefits
After completing training, drivers typically earn $1,300-$1,600+ per week depending on route and division. Full benefits begin after 30 days and include:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) retirement plan
- Company-paid life insurance ($10,000)
- Disability coverage and paid vacation
- CDL tuition reimbursement (up to $1,000)
- Free online college tuition through SNHU (for you and one immediate family member)
After applying, our recruiting team will contact you for a brief phone interview. Qualified candidates will move forward with the full application and be scheduled for orientation. Transportation is provided via bus, or mileage reimbursement is available if you drive. Meals are included during orientation.
