Start a new career as a CNA! This is a full-time position from day one. You'll work in a support role at The Shores while completing paid CNA training. Successful completion of the training program and attainment of CNA certification are required. Once certified, you will transition into a CNA role at The Shores.

Why Join Us?

Up to $23 per hour once moved into a CNA role
  • Schedule:

    Full-Time | Monday–Friday, no weekends
  • Paid CNA training and certification, fully covered by The Shores
  • Guaranteed transition into a CNA roleupon successful completion of CNA training and certification
How the Program Works:
  • Before training: You're hired full-time into a support role — housekeeping, laundry, and/or reception — across various shifts
  • During training: You continue working in that same role while attending your 6-week, paid, on-site CNA course (starting November 2, 2026).
  • After training: You remain full-time in your current role, with continued pay, until the successful completion of your CNA certification. Upon certification, you transition to a CNA role at The Shores.
  • Transition to CNA: Once certified, you'll transition into a CNA role with a pay rate of up to $23.00 per hour. You'll also have an updated full-time schedule based on staffing needs that includes rotating weekends.
  • At every stage of this program, you are a full-time employee of The Shores — this is not a temporary or training-only position.

    • Commitment to full-time employment with UMC throughout the program and after CNA certification
