The University of Southern Mississippi is accepting applications for the position of Temporary Deckhand on the RV Tommy Munro, based at the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory in Ocean Springs, MS. This seasonal, non-benefitted role supports deck operations, maintenance, and safety while the vessel is at sea and in port.
Under supervision of the Vessel Captain, you will assist with gear deployments, line handling, and watches; travel may be involved, with work periods up to 30 days offshore.
