TITLE

Purchasing Manager

The Purchasing Manager leads the procurement function for a growing manufacturing company in the manufacturing sector (heavy fabrication and assembly). This role oversees sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing operations to support a multi-plant organization with expanding production capacity. You will guide a small team while ensuring materials and components are delivered on time, at the right cost, and at the highest quality standards.

• Have strong experience leading purchasing in a manufacturing environment and know how to balance cost, quality, and delivery without constant oversight.
• Can negotiate contracts, pricing, and supplier agreements with confidence while building long-term, trusted partnerships.
• Understand ERP/MRP systems and use data, metrics, and KPIs to drive smart sourcing decisions and continuous improvement.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, project-based setting where production schedules shift and urgency matters every day.

A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, along with 7+ years of progressive purchasing experience in manufacturing. At least 3–5 years of direct leadership experience managing buyers or purchasing teams is required.
