Billing Clerk

Description

A growing healthcare services organization in Oceanside is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to support daily invoicing, patient account processing, and revenue tracking. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate billing practices and maintaining financial integrity across the organization. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and timeliness are essential.

Key Responsibilities

+ Prepare and process invoices for services rendered

+ Review billing documentation for accuracy and compliance

+ Post payments and reconcile customer accounts

+ Assist with resolving billing discrepancies and inquiries

+ Maintain organized billing records and digital files

+ Coordinate with accounting and administrative teams to ensure accurate reporting

+ Support month-end billing reconciliations

+ Generate basic reports for leadership review

Requirements

+ 1-3 years of billing or accounting support experience

+ Familiarity with billing software or EMR systems preferred

+ Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

+ Professional communication skills
