Help Bring the Numbers Behind Construction Projects Together

A growing commercial construction company is seeking an Accountant to support project accounting and day-to-day financial operations. This position is a strong fit for someone who understands that construction accounting requires more than simply processing transactions—you need to understand where costs are going and how they impact each project.

You'll partner with Project Managers, Operations, and Accounting leadership to maintain accurate job costing and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records for multiple active construction projects
• Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
• Review project costs and investigate unusual variances
• Assist with job costing and work-in-progress reporting
• Process and review Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
• Assist with subcontractor billing and payment documentation
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
• Support monthly and year-end close
• Prepare financial reports for management
• Assist with audits and year-end financial requests
