The Estimator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Oceanside, CA. The Estimator will review architectural plans, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate material and labor estimates for custom window and door projects. Daily responsibilities include performing site visits and measurements as needed, gathering vendor quotes, and updating pricing databases. The Estimator will collaborate with sales, project management, and installation teams to clarify scope, refine bids, and support contract negotiations.

The role also involves preparing professional proposals for customers, tracking estimate status, and assisting with cost analysis to improve profitability and project efficiency.

• Experience with construction or remodeling estimating, particularly in windows, doors, or related building products.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and general computer skills; familiarity with CRM or project management tools is a plus.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present estimates clearly to internal teams and customers.
• Detail-oriented work style, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
• Comfort with on-site work, including performing field measurements and coordinating with installers and vendors.
• Previous experience in construction, glazing, or carpentry environments is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or coursework in construction management, estimating, or a related field is preferred.
