Preschool Teacher – Shaping Bright Future!

Salary: $17.53-$18.65 per hour

Oceanside, CA
This role is based in Southern California, specifically in Oceanside, CA (North San Diego County). It is located inside a military base installation. Base access is provided to civilian employees.

Who you are:
As the Preschool Teacher, you're not just a guide; you're a creator of unbreakable bonds between mothers and children. Your role is to empower parents with the tools to nurture their little superheroes and encourage socialization among our adorable pint-sized pals.
What will you do:
People Skills Extraordinaire:
- Flex those interpersonal muscles and navigate the various challenges of child care with grace and empathy.
- Master the art of conflict resolution with a sprinkle of positivity.
Curriculum Captain:
- Craft and deliver an academic preschool curriculum that's as engaging as a puppet show on a sunny day.
- Create a daily schedule that caters to the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs of each tiny tot.
Atmosphere Architect:
- Set the stage for fun and learning by arranging play areas like a pro magician.
- Document everything from online payments to attendance, ensuring every detail sparkles.
Extra Exciting Duties:
- Create a haven of happiness for our little ones, ensuring safety and sanitation through constant supervision and creative space arrangements.
- Serenade your way into hearts with songs, games, and finger plays that make learning a joyous melody.
Other
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Showcase your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attend mandatory meetings with the enthusiasm of a cheerleader, always ready to share wisdom and resources with fellow facilitators.
- Keep the excitement alive by producing a monthly calendar of activities.
What experience and skills you will need to be successful:
- Possess at least a high school diploma or GED, coupled with a minimum of 1 year in supervised programmatic child care.
- Hold a degree in fields such as psychology, elementary education, child development, or related disciplines (preferred but not mandatory).
- Successfully pass background checks and drug testing to maintain the safety of our hero headquarters.
- Meet current health and sanitation requirements, along with passing random drug testing, criminal background checks, and employment reference background checks.
- A passion for creating a world where every child feels valued and every mom is a superhero.
- Superb organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks and keep the energy high.
