Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Safety Professional with strong Occupational Health/Industrial Hygiene expertise to support biologics manufacturing and technology transfer activities. This role serves as the EHS single point of contact, ensuring safety is integrated into new processes, equipment, and tech transfer initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, assess, and mitigate EHS risks for new/modified products, processes, and equipment.
• Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and gap analyses.
• Recommend and validate engineering controls (e.g., fume hoods, glove boxes).
• Review chemical BOMs, equipment documentation, and process changes.
• Develop and deliver safety training for teams.
• Support MOC, CAPAs, and compliance with OSHA/Cal/OSHA and related standards.

Required

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's in Chemistry, Life Science, Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health/Industrial Hygiene (OSHA, NIOSH, ACGIH).
• Experience evaluating chemical processes and implementing controls.
• Hands-on experience with risk assessments, exposure monitoring, and PPE/engineering controls.

Preferred:

• Experience in biotech/pharma or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with tech transfer, MOC, and PSSR processes.
• Understanding of GMP/non-GMP safety requirements.
