D&H Water Systems is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee all phases of water and wastewater projects from preconstruction through start up and commissioning. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring successful project execution, including schedule management, budget control, contractor coordination, fabrication oversight, and client communication.

This position requires a highly organized and self-motivated professional capable of managing multiple concurrent projects while fostering collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage complex projects to completion.

Demonstrates the ability to plan, manage, and execute projects with minimal supervision. Takes full ownership of project scope, schedule, and deliverables, ensuring accountability throughout each phase.

Builds and maintains strong, cooperative relationships with internal teams, engineers, contractors, and manufacturers. Promotes transparent communication and a unified approach to achieving project objectives.

Applies sound judgment and analytical skills to resolve project challenges effectively. Maintains composure and professionalism while implementing timely and practical solutions.

Organizational Excellence

Manages competing priorities and multiple project timelines with precision. Exhibits a structured approach to project tracking, documentation, and reporting.

• Lead all aspects of project execution, independently managing projects from initiation through closeout.
• Support assigned salesperson with quotation requests, project documentation review, bid preparation, and client communication.
• Consistently deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Supervise and mentor Jr. Project Managers, providing direction, feedback, and professional development support.
• Contribute to proposal pricing strategies, cost proposal preparation, and contract risk assessments.
• Coordinate with the Shop Foreman to oversee fabrication activities, manage production schedules, and meet key delivery deadlines.
• Serve as liaison among internal administrative teams, sales managers, and field personnel to ensure seamless collaboration across departments.
• Follow internal processes to ensure quality delivery of projects for client.
• Exhibit professionalism, leadership, and a results-driven mindset across all project activities.

• Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in related field preferred such as Business, Engineering, Construction Management, etc.
• Minimum of five (5-10) years of project management experience in the water or wastewater industry.
• Proven ability to interpret project plans and specifications.
• Comprehensive understanding of project processes, including takeoffs, proposals, submittals, and fabrication coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat (PDF markups).
• Experience with Quick Books preferred.
