Unifeye Vision Partners is currently hiring for a Site Supervisor, Oceanside, CA.
SUMMARYThe Site Supervisor is responsible for assisting in leading the daily clinical functions in the clinic setting. This position provides direction and leadership to ensure Pendleton Eye Center (PEC) meets the requirements of great patient care and improved population health within an efficient cost structure, while improving the work life of providers and staff. Principal responsibilities include operations, establishing and maintaining clinical standards of care, managing staff and resources, facilitating research and education, and maintaining compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations.
The role establishes quality improvement efforts to support the delivery of patient care and knowledge-based decision-making as the framework for superior delivery of care.
- The Site Supervisor facilitates communication, coordination, and collaboration among disciplines regarding identification, planning and provision of high quality, cost-effective care.
- Principal responsibilities include operations, establishing and maintaining clinical standards of care, managing staff and resources, facilitating research and education, and maintaining compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Participates in strategic planning and coordination of the Quality & Performance Improvement Program.
- Effectively and professionally collaborates with colleagues to achieve office and regional goals and tasks.
- Always demonstrate professional behavior and appearance.
- Assist in evaluating the department’s workforce in terms of overall staffing and scheduling.
- Order supplies and work with staff at all levels to ensure inventory measures are consistently met.
- Manage and establish quality improvement efforts to support the delivery of patient care and knowledge-based decision-making as the framework for superior delivery of care.
- Engage in ongoing feedback to the effectiveness of staff members in their roles.
- Assist with the collection and analyze data related to quality or performance improvement projects that apply to clinical operations.
- Exhibits professional, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Pursues professional growth and participates in a professional organization.
- Acts as a patient advocate and maintains privacy and confidentiality of all appropriate information.
- Assist with development mechanisms for adherence to regulatory standards and facility policies & procedures.
- Assists with analyzing quarterly performance data, occurrence reporting information, quality & outcome data, and patient satisfaction data looking for trends that may have risk implications for clinical operations.
- Analyze clinical practice and identify opportunities to increase quality, safety, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- This is an in-office position, remote work is not available.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrated leadership skills (training and support to be provided).
- Extensive knowledge of ophthalmological and medical terminology.
- Strong internal and external professional communication skills.
- Able to clearly document activities in a computer tracking system.
- Organized and can move between multiple tasks while maintaining progress in work and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- High schedule diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in ophthalmic capacity (front or back office)
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) Certification Preferred
- Ophthalmic Scribe Certification (OSC) Preferred.
This position has supervisory responsibility over PEC clinic operations.
