The Pool Concierge serves as a key point of contact for guests enjoying the pool and outdoor recreation areas. This role embodies luxury‑level service by anticipating guest needs, delivering personalized experiences, and ensuring a refined and relaxing environment consistent with Forbes Four‑Star hotel standards. This is a seasonal role expected to end around Labor Day 2026.
The hourly rate for this position is $20.00/hr this is not a tipped position. This is a part time/seasonal role, expected to end around Labor Day 2026.
Primary Responsibilities Guest Engagement & Experience- Welcome and acknowledge all guests promptly following Forbes service standards; anticipate needs and provide personalized recommendations for poolside amenities and recreation.
- Serve as the primary pool area host, ensuring a warm, polished, and attentive presence for both leisure and VIP guests.
- Assist guests with cabana reservations, loungers, towels, sun protection amenities, food & beverage coordination, and activity scheduling.
- Monitor seating availability and maintain waitlist as needed for pool seating and amenities.
- Provide accurate information about hotel recreation offerings, including pools, beaches, fitness zones, and child activity areas.
- Encourage and register guests for poolside or resort recreation programming.
- Monitor pool activity, ensuring guest safety and responding appropriately to emergencies per hotel procedures.
- Maintain impeccable grooming, professional communication, and a refined luxury‑service demeanor.
- Uphold all policies and quality assurance expectations with attention to detail and guest privacy.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to support guest requests and deliver seamless service.
- Assist with private poolside events, group activities, and recreation‑related programming.
- Provide cashier or point‑of‑sale support for rentals, activities, or retail sales when applicable.
- Prior luxury hospitality or concierge experience preferred;
Forbes or AAA Four/Five‑Diamond experience is a strong advantage. - Excellent communication, guest‑service orientation, and ability to handle diverse guest situations with poise.
- Strong knowledge of hotel services and local area offerings.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced resort environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, push, and pull items per operational needs, typically up to 25 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions for extended periods.
