Magnaflow is a leading manufacturer and supplier based in Oceanside, CA of premium products to the automotive aftermarket industry such as catalytic converters, performance exhaust and replacement exhaust. Through the Camburg division in Huntington Beach, CA. Magnaflow also supplies race-inspired performance suspension products and vehicle uplifting services, Magnaflow is focused on future growth through both new business development and new product introduction.

* Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.

Buyer will maintain real time communication with suppliers and coordinate the fulfillment of requirements from Production, R&D, and Marketing.

• Execute daily/weekly process to review and maintain MRP suggested inventory levels.
• Maintain data integrity and accuracy for purchased parts in the ERP system.
• Source new suppliers as needed for new parts and services.
• Search for suppliers with better quality and/or lower costs for existing parts and services.
• Negotiate best price, quality, lead time and service from suppliers.
• Generate and follow up on purchase orders until invoiced and closed.
• Take immediate action to resolve or avoid issues which could impede production or have a negative financial impact.
• Work with Engineering, Marketing or Management to implement design changes, or prepare for future requirements and new applications.
• Participate in the Magna Flow supplier management program,
• Visit suppliers to develop business relationships and seek opportunities to benefit Magna Flow.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-5+ years’ experience preferred.

• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Strong command of Microsoft Application Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and various PC applications.
• Strong work ethic and accountability driven mindset.
• < 10% Travel required.
• Automotive and/or manufacturing industry knowledge preferred
