• Performs warehouse work involving receiving, storing, and shipping a variety of bin and bulk supplies, material, equipment, and commodities.
• Unload, stack, bin, rotate, and mark stock in accordance with standardized operating instructions.
• Verifies incoming and outgoing shipping documents.
• Uses automated material identification equipment such as bar code, wands, computer terminals, and laser scanners to select storage locations.
• Operates hand tools, hand trucks, hand lifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and electric lifts.
• Provides world‑class customer service with an emphasis on courtesy and problem solving.
• Reports workplace hazards, injuries, or property damage to the immediate supervisor.
• Adheres to safety regulations and the principles of the EEO program.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of general warehouse layout, item identification codes, basic procedures, and storage areas.
• Ability to complete appropriate forms for stock descriptions and labeling requirements.
• Proficiency in using a computer terminal and manual dollies, electric lifts, and hand tools.
• Ability to identify obvious damage to materials through visual inspections.
• Works under guidance of a supervisor and follows written instructions for new operations.
• Observes safety procedures for equipment and is subject to periodic spot‑checks.
• Physical effort: stands on hard surfaces for extended periods; lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs. independently and over 45 lbs. with assistance.
• Will work inside or outside in hot, damp, cold, drafty, or poorly lit areas and will wear issued protective gear.
